Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional appearance and high standard of personal hygiene at all times
- Prepare nutritious and quality meals while ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Accommodate and attend to authorised guests in the guesthouse in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ensure that guest rooms and bathrooms are clean at all times
- Ensure all accommodated guests sign the guest register upon check-in and check-out
- Submit cleaning materials request on or before 15th of every month and book vehicle for restocking/shopping once every month
- Report all faults and maintenance issues identified in the guesthouse to the HOD immediately it is noticed.
Requirements
- HND in Hospitality Management, Food Technology, Hotel and Catering or a trained Chef
- Minimum of 3 years' working experience in a standard Hotel, Restaurant or Guesthouse
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long hours in a dynamic kitchen environment.
- The candidate must possess excellent cooking skills and excellent sense of smell and taste. In addition, must be neat, dedicated and have good human relations.
