As part of activities to commemorate Children's Day 2025, the management of Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited (RENL) extended a warm gesture of care and support to children in its host communities by donating exercise books and water bottles to pupils in primary schools across its operational sites in Edo, Delta, Ondo, and Ogun States.

The initiative, driven by RENL's commitment to corporate social responsibility, aimed to promote education, healthy habits, and the overall well-being of children in rural areas. The presentation of the educational items formed a highlight of the company's Children's Day celebrations, reinforcing the theme of investing in the future of every child.

During the symbolic presentation events held at selected schools within the four states, pupils and teachers welcomed the donations with excitement and gratitude. The provision of books will support learning and reduce the economic burden on parents, while the water bottles are intended to encourage proper hydration and personal hygiene among young learners.

Speaking at the events, RENL representative, Jonathan Okosisi noted that Children's Day is a reminder of the importance of nurturing the younger generation. "Children are the future, and we are proud to celebrate them by supporting their education and health needs."

Community leaders and education authorities also applauded RENL's consistent contributions to education and the welfare of the children. The event did not only bring smiles to the faces of the children but also further strengthened the bond between RENL and its host communities.

Through such meaningful engagements, RENL continues to demonstrate its role as a responsible corporate citizen and a valued development partner.
