In its display of corporate social responsibility and good welfare packages, the Management of Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited has presented essential educational materials to primary schools located within the Estates of its sites. This gesture is aimed at creating an enabling learning condition for the children and it is part of the Company's sustainable development strategy and commitment to education for its staff wards who forms 90% of the populace of the benefiting schools.

The event which took place from the 28th through 29th of October at the school premises in Araromi site, Waterside site, Adeola site, Osse site, Iguobazuwa, and Newland saw the presentation of chairs and tables to the nursery classes, and school bags containing books to all the pupils. To further motivate academic excellence, the management of Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited awarded the best three (3) students from each class with gift prizes.
Addressing the pupils, the Managing Director of Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited, Oliver Odoukou advised them to focus on their studies as the management is willing to do more for them, and that would only happen if they focus on their studies to make their parents and the company proud. He also expressed his gratitude to the proprietress of Christ immaculate School, Mrs. Christiana Lijorfi for her good works, and commitment in ensuring that the pupils have a conducive environment for learning and promised that RENL will continue to support them.
On his part, The Executive Director of Finance, Emmanuel Abana also urged the pupils to always strive to be the best, and also be an ambassador of good things as the management would be happy and proud to see them pass in flying colors, and also take on better positions in years to come. He expressed the management's desire to continue to support and collaborate with their parents and school authority to make sure that they would be provided with all the essential learning materials and encouragement they would need in the long run.
The event received positive feedback from both the school authority and the students as they expressed their gratitude to RENL management for recognizing the importance of Education in the society by always providing them with the required learning materials. They also promised to use them judiciously and make their parents and the management of the company proud.
