In celebration of excellence, commitment, and unwavering dedication, the management of Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited held its annual Best Employee Award and Retirees ceremony to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions of its dedicated employees to the growth and success of the company.
The event which took place on the 17th of April, 20th of April, and 6th of May, 2026 across the operational sites in Araromi, Osse, and Utagba Uno brought together the management team of RENL, the recognized outstanding employees and also the retirees whose years of service have left a lasting impact on the organization to honour their commitment to the company over the years and celebrate the exceptional performances of the staff.
In his address, the Managing Director of Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited, Olivier Odoukou, commended the awardees for their consistent commitment and role in driving the company forward. He noted that RENL’s recognition as a certified Top Employer is a reflection of the high standards and dedication demonstrated by its employees across all sites. He also paid special tribute to the retirees, describing their service as foundational to the company’s progress and stability over the years. He further encouraged the staff to remain steadfast in their duties, emphasizing that excellence is not only recognized through awards but daily through integrity, teamwork, and passion for work.
On his part, the Human Resources Manager, Smart Okhions, reiterated that the Best Employee Awards is based on merit, performance, and dedication and he urged all the employees to continue striving for excellence in their various roles. He also appreciated the retirees for their years of committed service, noting that their years of service represent a legacy of discipline, resilience, and hard work, which would continue to inspire all the other employees. He then emphasized that the retirement should not be seen as an end, but as a transition into a well-deserved phase of rest and honour.
