In a bid to assess the impact of recent development and strengthen support for host communities, the management of Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited led by the Managing Director Olivier Odoukou paid a visit to RENL host communities as part of its commitment to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.

The visit is aimed at gaining firsthand knowledge of challenges faced by communities and to evaluate the impact of completed and ongoing projects and initiatives implemented by the company as MD Olivier Odoukou expressed a keen interest in assessing the effectiveness of these community projects and gathering feedback from the community members.

In his speech, MD Olivier Odoukou thanked the host communities for their continuous effort in ensuring a peaceful co-existence between the communities and the company. He stated that the management will continue to try its best in ensuring that more community projects with positive impact will be executed and urges them to take good care in maintaining the already executed projects as the company will frown at any of the community projects that is not properly maintain.

In their response, the community members expressed gratitude to the MD and his management team for paying visit to their community for the 2^nd time in 2023. They affirmed that the present management of Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited led by Olivier Odoukou has proven to be committed in supporting and contributing to the sustainable development of host communities. They also thanked the management for the provisions of streetlights, borehole, town halls, renovations of schools and maternity, presentation of scholarship to their children in higher institutions and they promised to put all community projects in judicious use.
