



In a move to promote open dialogue and direct interaction, RENL Management has held its 2026 management tour with community visits, meeting with staff and camp inspection of the year. The visit marks a significant milestone for the organization, as it also represents the 11th management tour since the inception of the administration of the MD Olivier Odoukou, reaffirming the company’s commitment to transparent leadership, operational oversight, and strong community relations.
The visits, which took place from 13th April to 7th May across the company six operational sites, was led by the MD alongside its management team, underscored RENL’s continued commitment to strong community relations, operational excellence, and proactive leadership. The tour provided an opportunity for the management to directly engage with community stakeholders and staff while assessing ongoing operations and living conditions within the camps.
During the community engagement session, the Managing Director expressed appreciation to members of the host communities for their peaceful coexistence with RENL and the warm reception accorded to the management team. He assured the communities of the company’s continued support and commitment to contributing positively within the scope of its capacity. In his remarks, he emphasized RENL’s dedication to mutual cooperation, peaceful coexistence, and sustainable development.
The camp inspection segment of the tour focused on safety standards, welfare facilities, environmental practices, and overall operational efficiency. Management inspected key facilities and interacted with staff on-site, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards in health, safety, and productivity.
On his part, the Managing Director, Olivier Odoukou described the tour as both strategic and symbolic, noting that the 2026 first staff engagement and camp inspection of the year reflects the company’s management philosophy of being present on the ground, actively listening to staff, and ensuring that operations remain aligned with the company’s core values.
He further noted that, as the eleventh management tour, the focus remains firmly on maintaining safe camps, fostering a motivated workforce, and driving operational efficiency. Staff members across the camps expressed appreciation for the visit, commending management for its hands‑on leadership approach and the opportunity to engage directly on operational and welfare matters. Community leaders and residents also conveyed their gratitude to RENL for its consistent engagement and open channels of communication, noting that these regular interactions have helped strengthen trust, foster mutual understanding, and ensure the timely resolution of concerns.
