On Wednesday 21^st of August 2024, the Management and staff of Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited honored one of its esteemed Senior Manager who has contributed immensely to the growth of the company. The ceremony was in honor of the Senior Logistics Manager, Stephen Usih to mark his retirement after an impressive 17years of service to the company.

The ceremony which held at RENL main guest house in Araromi was attended by top Management staff of RENL both past and present, family members, colleagues from SIPH group, third party associates among others.

In his address, the Managing Director of Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited, Olivier Odoukuo, thanked the guest present for finding time to celebrate with Mr. Usih as he bows out of the service. He stated that the company has gained enormously from his commitment and noted that his achievement during his 17years is commendable. He maintained that Usih dedication and hard work is one that all should emulate. He expressed his gratitude to Stephen Usih for his unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence which has always been his watchword.

On his part, the Human Resource Manager, Smart Okhions noted that since the history of Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited this is first send forth to be streaming live on Facebook and having people joining from various location across the world. He stated that Stephen Usih has been a great man who always push for result exploring available means. He thereafter wished him well in his future endeavor.

In his response, Stephen Usih thanked the Management for believing in him and giving him the opportunity to excel during his 17 years of service and celebrating his achievements.

He also stated that he is leaving RENL very happy for two things. Firstly, for retiring very well in good health and not to suffer and secondly, that he is leaving an organization that he will always cherish especially for the good welfare package of the management. In his word, "when I look back, I am proud to say, RENL is my former place of work".
